Ajax CurtainCam Outdoor HM (PhOD) white - Outdoor photo curtain detector on demand

Ajax CurtainCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD) white is a wireless outdoor curtain-type motion detector with a built-in camera for taking photos (Photo-on-Demand and photo during alarm). Designed to be installed at height (approximately 2 to 4 m), it offers narrow "curtain" detection coverage over a range of up to 15 m, ideal for monitoring facades, gates or fence lines.

It uses dual PIR and microwave detection technology to improve reliability and reduce false alarms. The built-in camera takes photos in the event of an alarm, on demand or according to programmed scenarios, with a resolution of up to 640 × 480 pixels and HDR support, as well as infrared lighting for low-light conditions.

Radio communication is via Jeweller (for events and alarms) and Wings (for photo transmission) protocols, with an unobstructed range of up to approximately 1700 m to the Ajax control panel. The device is compatible with Ajax Hub and Hub Plus control panels using the Jeweller protocol.

The detector is built for durable outdoor use with an IP55 rating, resistant to rain, dust and temperatures from −25 °C to +60 °C. It also includes anti-masking and anti-tampering functions to detect any attempt to cover or manipulate the housing.

It can be mounted on a wall or façade with an adjustable bracket and is powered by 6 CR123A batteries, providing several years of battery life depending on usage.
