Hikvision DS-PDPC18-HM-WE - Dual PIR outdoor camera 

The Hikvision DS-PDPC18-HM-WE detector is a wireless outdoor motion detector that integrates dual PIR technology and a camera for visual alarm verification. It is part of Hikvision's AX PRO range and is designed for perimeter protection of homes and business premises.

It features dual passive infrared detection with a range of up to 18 metres and a detection angle of 90°. The sensitivity is adjustable and the detector is immune to animals weighing up to 24 kg in order to limit false alarms.

A built-in camera allows images to be taken when an alarm is triggered in order to visually verify the intrusion via the mobile application or a remote monitoring centre. The resolution can reach 640 x 480 pixels. The device incorporates infrared lighting for night vision up to approximately 12 metres and has an automatic day/night mode.

Communication is provided by secure two-way radio technology (AES-128) offering a range of up to approximately 800 metres in open space with the compatible AX PRO control panel.

Designed for outdoor use, it has an IP65 protection rating and operates in a temperature range of -25°C to +60°C. It is powered by four CR123A batteries, offering a battery life of up to three years depending on usage.

This detector combines reliable detection and visual verification in a single wireless device, facilitating installation and enhancing outdoor security.
