It supports IP cameras as well as analogue and HD analogue technologies, including HDCVI, AHD, TVI and CVBS. This extensive compatibility allows you to work on new or existing installations without the need for multiple test equipment. The device displays, adjusts and verifies video streams directly in the field, simplifying camera configuration and maintenance operations, regardless of the standard used.

Screen and display ergonomics

The tester is equipped with a 4-inch IPS screen offering a clear and stable image, with good viewing angles for both indoor and outdoor use. IPS technology ensures colour fidelity and consistent readability, even when the technician is not directly in front of the screen. This comfortable display facilitates fine tuning of camera orientation, focus and exposure, while reducing eye strain during prolonged use.

Network compatibility and IP protocols

For IP cameras, the tester supports the standard ONVIF, RTSP and RTP protocols, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of manufacturers and models. It has two 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports for flexible network connections, whether for direct access to cameras, integration into an existing network or Ethernet link testing. This dual interface also facilitates configuration, network diagnostics and IP device updates on site.

Control functions, zoom and communication interfaces

The tester incorporates an 8x digital zoom that allows you to precisely enlarge certain areas of the image to check the sharpness and legibility of number plates or critical details in the scene. It has an audio interface for testing the sound channels associated with the cameras and an RS485 link for controlling PTZ devices or other equipment using this protocol. The presence of a BNC input and output (1/1) ensures direct connection to analogue cameras or video lines, facilitating measurements, adjustments and signal quality control.

Power supply, memory and physical characteristics

The maximum available power supply is DC 12 V 2 A, which not only powers the tester, but also powers certain cameras during configuration phases, depending on their consumption. An 8 GB internal Flash memory is integrated for storing captures, configurations or test data, providing a practical medium for documenting and tracking interventions. The case has compact dimensions of 190 x 113 x 37 mm, offering a good grip and making it easy to carry in a bag or tool case, while remaining robust enough for intensive use on site.
