Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ CPU 1.4Ghz

The Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ is the latest product in the Raspberry Pi 3 line.

Like the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, it features a 64-bit quad core 1.4GHz processor, dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless LAN, and Bluetooth 4.2/BLE.

The dual-band WLAN comes with modular compliance certification, allowing the board to be designed into finished products with significantly reduced WLAN compliance testing, improving cost and time-to-market on the market.

The Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ has the same mechanical footprint as the Raspberry Pi 1 Model A+. Based on the Broadcom 2837 ARMv8 64bit Quad Core processor up from 900MHz (on the Pi2) to 1.2Ghz, the new generation RPi is a bit larger than the Pi2, faster and more powerful than its predecessors.

With improved power management, the Pi3 is able to support more powerful external USB devices and now includes built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity !
