Honeywell Galaxy E080-10 Ethernet IP Transmitter

The IP / Ethernet module allows you to control your installation via the Android or IOS GX Remote Control smartphone application.

The Galaxy Ethernet Module is an optional addition to the Galaxy Control Panel range, designed for use with Galaxy 8, 18, 60, 128, 500, 504 and 512 (high security) products.

It is an extremely smart and compact module, combining alarm signaling, remote maintenance facilities and integrated facilities via Ethernet LAN and/or WAN. The Ethernet module connects to 10 Base T Ethernet networks supporting UDP/IP and TCP/IP protocols.
Each Ethernet module contains a unique Ethernet or MAC address.
As a signaling device, the Ethernet module transmits alarm signals in SIA or Microtech formats (default setting is Microtech).

Support is included for high-level 128-bit encryption of all alarm signals. Additionally, the continuity of all alarm transmission paths can be monitored to ensure the availability of critical alarm reporting.

As a remote maintenance center, the Ethernet module can be used - in conjunction with the Galaxy Gold software - to remotely access the Galaxy control panel, via Ethernet LAN and/or WAN, thus enabling copying and program replacement as well as online maintenance.

Both the Ethernet module and the Galaxy Gold support 128-bit encryption to ensure data transfer security.

The Ethernet module is compatible with Galaxy control panel software V4.00 and later. Full instructions on programming the Ethernet module are given in Chapter 56 of the Galaxy Programming Manual (IP1-0030).
