The PowerG Visonic SMD-429 PG2 Wireless Smoke and Heat Detector offers advanced fire detection by combining an advanced photoelectric smoke detector with built-in heat sensor and PowerG wireless technology.

The Visonic SMD-429 PG2 smoke and heat detector thus guarantees precise and reliable activation of the alarm as soon as it detects the presence of smoke or as soon as the ambient temperature reaches or exceeds 57o C (135o F).

The detector not only triggers the built-in siren and flashing light to alert the occupants of the room, but it also transmits a coded signal to the alarm control panel so that it activates the system siren and warns the end user and/or or the remote monitoring center for an on-site assistance request.

A fully supervised device, the wireless smoke and heat detector is compatible with PowerMaster alarm systems. Boasting a sleek design, it fits perfectly into all residential buildings or small and medium-sized businesses.

To ensure extremely stable communication between the detector and the PowerMaster control panel, it is equipped with Visonic's wireless PowerG technology and uses the highly reliable AES encryption method.
