The Hikvision DS-PDC15-EG2-WE is a wireless PIR (passive infrared) motion detector designed to work with Hikvision AX PRO alarm systems.

It is a "curtain" detector, which means that it creates a narrow, long detection beam, ideal for protecting doors, windows, corridors or specific passageways. Its detection range can reach up to 15 metres with a very narrow angle of approximately 6.3°, forming a precise linear barrier.

It operates using secure two-way radio technology (Tri-X) on 868 MHz with AES-128 encryption, ensuring reliable communication with the alarm control panel. The radio range can be up to approximately 1.6 km in open space.

The detector is powered by a 3V CR123A battery offering a battery life of up to 5 years depending on usage. It also features tamper protection (opening and removal), digital temperature compensation for stable detection and resistance to white light up to 6500 lux.

It is designed for indoor installation, generally mounted at a height of between 2.4 m and 3.6 m. Configuration and monitoring are carried out via the AX PRO control panel and the associated application.
