Thanks to the Fibaro FGR-224 Roller Shutter, any device powered by an electric motor can be controlled remotely. The shutter control module enables precise positioning of motors with mechanical and electrical limit switches.

In addition, the device allows for current monitoring.

With classic switch control, by app or with pre-configured scenes, you can make your life more comfortable.

The FGR-224 Roller Shutter also contributes to safety.

When you leave the house, you close all windows and shutters at the touch of a button.

The compact radio module is placed in a wall box just behind the normal switch. The switch is no longer directly connected to the load, but serves as an input device for the FIBARO insert controlling the load.

The switch only sends the control signal to the insert, which controls the load again. The solution works with all switch models.

It is recommended to use wall boxes with a depth of 65 mm. But smaller boxes with a depth of only 45 mm can also be used if there is enough space behind the switch. The available space depends on the size of the traditional switch, the dimensions of the wall box, and the amount of additional wiring placed in that box.
