The Honeywell IS312B Wired Sensor is a compact, high-performance motion detector that provides a hassle-free plug-and-play experience to simplify and reduce installation time.

The IS312B passive infrared detector has optimal performance achieved through custom-developed extended range Fresnel optics, downward vision function, lid and wall tampering, and selectable pet immunity.

With state-of-the-art detection technologies, the Honeywell IS312B Motion Detector will optimize intruder detection while reducing false alarms.

• Sleek and robust housing

The sleek and sturdy enclosure fits into a variety of residential and building styles and complements any room décor. ABS plastic is used for shock and impact protection. The enclosure offers a convenient wiring channel, knockout inputs for mounting and wiring, and easy access to wiring terminals. For ease of installation, the mounting screws are conveniently attached to the inside of the detector's rear housing.

• Sealed optics and electronics (*)

Optics and electronics are assembled in the front case and sealed with a protective cover to prevent damage during installation. The sealed optical chamber also prevents drafts and insects from affecting the detector.

• Built-in screw retention features

To mount the detector on the wall, the installer will insert the screw into the built-in mounting function where it will be automatically held in place, making mounting the detector quick and easy. (*) Not available for IS312/IS312B models

• Uniform sensitivity optics

• Advanced DualCore Signal Processing (DUAL TEC)

DualCore signal processing analyzes PIR and microwave signals through the microcontroller. It supports a host of advanced features, including concurrent diagnostics, digital fluorescent light interference filter, digital adaptive microwave threshold, adaptive baselines, and bidirectional temperature compensation.

• False alarm immunity

The IS3000 and DT8000 series are designed to meet false alarm standards, including both NF&A2P and EN50131-2-2 or EN50131-2-4 shields. The microprocessor's controls help filter out real signals from fake sources.

• Animal-friendly selectivity

Installers can enable or disable pet immunity by pressing a DIP switch. When animal immunity is activated, the detector can distinguish between signals caused by humans and signals caused by animals up to 45 kg.

• The patented Mirror Look Down system provides better close-up coverage with multiple zones in the downward vision area.

• PIR white light immunity

A patented black insect guard reduces false alarms by providing immunity to white light. This helps reduce the problems of false alarms caused by lights, flashlights, or reflective objects.

• Flexible mounts

The IS3000 and DT8000 family can be mounted on walls, corners or ceilings, with heights from 2.1 m to 2.7 m. The IS3000 and DT8000 family works with the SMB10 family of swivel brackets.
