The Ajax MotionCam HDR Jeweller Black (P/N 117743.307.BL1) is a wireless motion detector with built-in camera, designed for Ajax security systems. Intended for indoor use, it combines precise PIR motion detection with visual alarm verification through HDR photo taking.

When motion is detected, the MotionCam HDR automatically captures a series of images, allowing the user or monitoring station to quickly confirm the nature of the alert. HDR technology improves image quality in high-contrast environments, while infrared illumination ensures actionable photos even in complete darkness.

The detector offers a detection range of up to 12 meters with a wide coverage angle. It incorporates pet immunity, reducing false alarms caused by pets up to about 20 kg.

Communication with the Ajax hub is bidirectional, encrypted and secure, ensuring reliable transmission of alarms and images. The MotionCam HDR is battery-operated with a battery life of up to several years, reducing maintenance.
