Risco RVNVR324K1RA 12MP AI Recorder Pedestrian Detection Vehicles
The recorder supports a recording resolution of up to 12 MP per channel, allowing a high level of detail to be rendered on every connected channel. This capability is particularly suitable for the latest generation cameras, video surveillance scenarios requiring precise identification of people, license plates or objects, as well as installations requiring fine use of images during post-event replay and analysis.
The device has two 4K HDMI ports allowing the simultaneous connection of very high definition monitors or video walls, ensuring optimal viewing comfort for control rooms. A 1080p VGA port is also present for connection to more standard displays or for use as a secondary monitor. This diversity of video outputs offers great flexibility in the configuration of operating stations and the management of multi-screen displays.
The logger is powered by a 12 V input with a nominal current of 5.0 A, ensuring stable operation suitable for continuous use in a professional environment. This configuration facilitates integration into existing racks or technical boxes and allows the use of standardized UPS or UPS to ensure continuity of service in the event of a fluctuation or power outage.
The equipment incorporates 8 alarm inputs for connecting dry contacts or external sensors such as opening detectors, motion detectors or third-party technical systems. It also has 4 relay outputs, which can be used to control external devices such as sirens, lights, barriers or locking systems. This I/O architecture makes it easy to integrate the recorder into an overall safety solution and implement advanced automation scenarios.
The recorder supports the H.264, H.265 and H.265 Plus compression standards, providing significant optimization of network bandwidth and storage space required for long-duration recordings. H.265 Plus allows video file sizes to be further reduced while preserving image quality, resulting in better overall system efficiency, especially in multi-touch installations or with a large number of high-resolution cameras.
The intelligent analysis is performed directly by the recorder, with pedestrian and vehicle detection functions. These AI capabilities help distinguish relevant targets from background movements, reducing false alarms and improving the relevance of notifications. They also make it easier to find targeted events in recordings, quickly filtering footage containing people or vehicles, speeding up investigations and operational exploitation.
The device is equipped with two 100/1000 Base-T Ethernet ports, allowing bitrates suitable for high-resolution video streams and offering possibilities for segmentation or network redundancy. This dual interface makes it easy to separate management and video surveillance networks, or to set up fault-tolerant scenarios to ensure system availability. Gigabit speed compatibility allows for efficient support for multiple simultaneous streams of IP cameras.
The recorder can accommodate up to two internal hard drives, for a total maximum capacity of 12 TB (disks not included). This architecture allows the configuration to be adapted to the actual need in terms of retention time and recording quality, and to implement data distribution strategies, for example by separating continuous recording from event recording. Handling large volumes is particularly suitable for installations that require extended image retention.
The device is compatible with ONVIF S, G and T profiles, ensuring extensive interoperability with a wide range of IP cameras and video management software solutions. The S profile covers live streaming management, the G profile is geared towards recording and replay management, while the T profile is designed for advanced features such as H.265 and some analytics functions. This compliance facilitates integration into existing architectures and the evolution of the system over time.
