The Ajax FIRE PROTECT 2 RB detector is an advanced security device that combines smoke, heat, and carbon monoxide (CO) detection into one device. Equipped with a dual-spectrum optical sensor for accurate smoke detection, a temperature sensor for rapid heat rises, and a CO sensor to monitor dangerous levels of carbon monoxide, it provides complete protection against the risks of fire and CO poisoning.

This detector works autonomously thanks to two replaceable CR123A batteries, which makes it easy to install without the need for wiring. It is compatible with various Ajax hubs, including Hub Plus, Hub 2 (2G and 4G), Hub 2 Plus, as well as hybrid hub models, ensuring flexible integration into different home security systems.

To ensure reliable communication, the FIRE PROTECT 2 RB uses Jeweller communication technology with a range of up to 1700 meters in open field. It is also equipped with advanced security features such as tamper protection and communication failure detection, ensuring continuous and safe operation.

In the event of an emergency detection, a built-in siren emits an 85 dB audible signal at a distance of 3 meters, effectively alerting occupants to a potential threat. Multi-colored LED indicators (green, yellow and red) provide clear visual information about the operating status of the detector.

The FIRE PROTECT 2 RB complies with the European standards EN 14604:2005/AC:2008 for smoke detectors and EN 50291-1:2018 for carbon monoxide detectors, thus ensuring compliance with the latest safety standards. It is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 50°C and has an IP20 rating against solid objects larger than 12mm in diameter.
