Visonic SMD-976 PGP Smoke & Heat Detector
The SMD-976 PGP is a combined "smoke + heat" wireless detector using Visonic's PowerG+ technology.
It is designed to detect the presence of smoke via a photoelectric sensor and also a temperature increase (heat rise sensor/fixed temperature) to cover scenarios where smoke alone would not be enough.
It has an internal piezoelectric alarm (built-in ringer) and two-way radio communication with the control panel via PowerG.
It supports modern functions such as battery level reporting (the control panel can check the voltage), as well as monitoring the level of contamination (dust) in the detection chamber for easy maintenance.
Radio frequency: 868 MHz for Europe / 915 MHz for the United States (UL version)
Standard / Certification: Complies with EN 14604 (European version)
Detection Type: Photoelectric Smoke Sensor + Fixed Heat Sensor
Fixed heat temperature threshold: 58 °C ± 4 °C
Audible alarm: Greater than 85 dB at 3 meters
