The Dahua DHI-ARD1731-W2 (868) detector is a wireless motion detector with animal immunity, designed for Dahua alarm systems operating on the 868 MHz frequency band. It is intended for indoor intrusion detection and allows for effective monitoring of human movements in a defined area while reducing nuisance triggers due to small pets.

The detector uses passive infrared (PIR) technology combined with an intelligent processing algorithm to improve detection accuracy. It is able to distinguish human movements from common environmental disturbances such as variations in light or animal movements. Its wide detection angle allows optimal coverage of rooms such as living rooms, offices or corridors.

Communication with the alarm control panel is ensured by a secure two-way 868 MHz radio link, incorporating encryption and frequency hopping to ensure reliable and secure transmissions.
