Dahua IPC-HDBW2541E-S-S2 5MP 1/2.7" CMOS Camera, IR30m, PoE
2.8mm fixed lens with a wide field of view suitable for monitoring large areas with minimal dead spots. The 111° horizontal, 58° vertical and 132° diagonal viewing angle allows for effective coverage of both indoor and outdoor environments, while limiting the number of cameras needed for a complete installation.
The 1/2.7" CMOS sensor combined with a maximum resolution of 5 MP (2960 x 1668) at 20 frames per second ensures a detailed and smooth image that can be used for video identification and analysis. The combination of high resolution and the right frame rate ensures that scenes are accurately reproduced, even with fast movements.
The built-in infrared illumination provides a range of up to 30 meters, allowing reliable surveillance at night or in low-light environments. Image processing algorithms, including WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), 3D NR (Digital Noise Reduction), HLC (Highlight Compensation) and BLC (Back Light Compensation), optimize the readability of scenes in backlight, high contrast or in the presence of direct light sources. Rotation mode and digital watermarking complete these functions for more flexible operation and protection of video streams.
The camera offers great positioning flexibility with a pan range of 0° to 355°, tilt from 0° to 65° and rotation from 0° to 355°. These mechanical adjustments allow the framing to be precisely adjusted according to the configuration of the site, without changing the position of the support. The compact dimensions of 8.1 cm x Φ10.9 cm and the weight of 0.34 kg make it easy to integrate discreetly on various types of surfaces.
The housing has IP67 protection, ensuring complete resistance to dust and splashing water, allowing for outdoor installation in demanding environments. The IK10 index offers a high resistance to shocks and acts of vandalism, particularly suitable for public or sensitive sites. The camera operates in an extended temperature range of -40°C to 60°C, ensuring consistent reliability in extreme climates.
The device is powered via PoE (802.3af) or 12V DC, providing flexibility to deploy depending on existing infrastructure. The maximum power consumption of 5 W to 6.1 W helps keep energy costs down and makes it easier to size PoE injectors, switches, and power supplies. The use of PoE also reduces the cabling required by consolidating power and data on a single network cable.
The camera supports multiple compression formats, including H.265, H.264, H.264H, H.264B, and MJPEG, allowing for the optimal trade-off between image quality, bandwidth, and storage capacity. The H.265 codec offers a significant reduction in bitrate compared to H.264, while maintaining a high level of detail, which is particularly advantageous for long-term 5 MP storage. The 10/100 Base-T RJ-45 network port ensures simple integration into standard Ethernet networks.
On-board intelligent features include lane departure detection and intrusion detection, allowing virtual zones and lines to be configured to generate targeted alerts. These advanced analytics capabilities improve alarm relevance, reduce false notifications, and make it easier to find critical events in recordings.
The micro SD card slot, compatible with up to 256GB, allows local video recording, either as a backup in case of a lost network connection or as a standalone recording solution. This internal storage capacity allows for redundancy strategies and optimized records management based on security and compliance needs.
Compatibility with ONVIF S, G and T profiles, as well as the CGI protocol, ensures easy integration into a wide range of video management systems (VMS) and multi-brand monitoring solutions. This interoperability facilitates deployment in existing infrastructures and ensures the sustainability of the installation in scalable ecosystems.
